Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer

Job Description

Implementation services within the Data Management, Data Quality, Business Intelligence and Analytics domains.

Job specifications:

  • To participate in the requirements analysis phase of relevant IT projects, for gathering customer requirements and assisting in the preparation of the requirement analysis and project design documents
  • To design and implement data management, data quality, business intelligence and analytics projects
  • To train the customers on the delivered IT systems
  • To maintain and support the proper systems operation
  • Project based Technical Team Lead
  • Customer interactions for project related technical and implementation aspects

The ideal candidate characteristics

  • University Degree in Computer Science (a Master Degree will be considered as a plus)
  • 3-5 years of working experience is required
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts, including: star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tools
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of SAS Programing language and SAS Technology (DI, BI, Analytics) will be considered as a plus
  • Competency in / willingness to learn new technical domains and participate in implementation teams of SAS Business Solutions (Risk Management, Customer Intelligence, Fraud prevention and Analytics)
  • Analytical skills, problem solving skills and ability to share knowledge effectively with others
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global team environment
  • Flexibility to travel as per business requirement
  • Completed military service (male applicants)
  • Fluency in English is a must

Senior Analytics Consultant 

Job Description

The candidate will provide advanced analytics implementation services independently or jointly with other departments to current and prospective customers. He/She will develop analytical models, machine learning where needed, using knowledge of analytical methods and related procedures and software products. 

Consultant's major responsibilities:

  • to provide predictive modeling services that contain analytical and statistical methods (Cross/Up sell models, Customer segmentation, Churn, Social Network Analysis, Text Mining and Sentiment Analysis etc.)
  • to provide data management programming services, data profiling and data quality for preparing data in the right structure and format, for further analysis
  • to provide reporting programming services for preparing static and dynamic reports and dashboards with data analytics
  • to provide input to project team so as to define scope and work effort for assigned tasks
  • to be able to lead analytics projects and guide the implementation team
  • to conduct workshop sessions for requirement analysis and system design
  • to review and edit documentation for consulting implementation projects
  • to perform training and knowledge transfer sessions to customers regarding analytics software technology
  • to contact on-site consulting clients and meet with prospective clients
  • to provide reliable delivery of targeted project results in the application of specific methodologies, products and technologies
  • to contribute to service delivery effectiveness through the consistent application of Best Practices as specified by project plans 

The ideal candidate characteristics

  • Undergraduate studies (University Degree) with solid understanding of business analytics and statistics
  • Master's Degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics is considered as a plus
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in predictive modeling (e.g. cross/up sell models, churn, customer segmentation, credit scoring)
  • Experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis using the SAS system or a comparable analytical tool (e.g. SPSS)
  • Knowledge of / capacity and willingness to learn Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts, including : star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tools 
  • Good understanding of SQL and knowledge of relational principles
  • Ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds, think analytically, write and edit technical material, and relate statistical concepts and applications to statistical and non-statistical users
  • Team as well as individual working spirit
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluency in English and computer literacy
  • Flexibility to travel as per business requirements
